Bespoke Alcove Wardrobes

The thing we love most about creating bespoke furniture is the challenge! Getting a project that requires a unique solution is what we thrive on, and they also tend to be the most creative projects. Sometimes there's no limit to our creativity.

Recently, we were able to work on a project such as this, at a property in Hertford. The owners desperately wanted to be able to have wardrobes in their bedroom but the built-in alcove was stopping them from purchasing off-the-shelf wardrobe solutions.

When we went to measure up and put together a free no-obligation quote, we also discovered that the alcove was asymmetrical, so from this point onwards, we knew we were going to have to get our thinking hats on to ensure that we could use all of the available space effectively and create a practical, yet stylish storage solution.

Once the customers had seen our initial drawings and we'd explained how we saw it all coming together, they were sold, and couldn't wait for us to get started.

The first step was starting on the custom-build in our workshop. Once templated by our team, we knew we had what was needed to be spot on with our measurements. Then, on completing our pre-installation checks, we could get started on the fit.

See a selection of images below of the build in our workshop, and the install at the property in Hertford.

The wardrobes were finished with a new door style, lacquered in the customers chosen colour - and they couldn't be happier with the result!
