Why Choose Bespoke Furniture?
There are many great places out there to buy furniture, from popular furniture giants such as Ikea to small, independent boutiques. Although this does give a huge range to choose from, it doesn’t always mean you get exactly what you want.

Unique Furniture for Your Style

Furniture that is made in bulk will never be unique so there is a big chance that you will see the same look in some of your family or friend’s houses. If you want to stand out from the crowd, choose bespoke furniture that is designed and made individually for your taste and that will suit your home. Our expert designers can create something completely unique to you and for exactly what you need. One of our customers was after a Mondrian inspired storage solution for their office. We created a bold statement wall of cupboards that really expressed their style and made the most of the space to provide maximum storage.

This rattan panelled shaker style door wardrobes that we have recently installed in Highbury is a great example of unique bespoke furniture. The wardrobes were made with walnut interiors and leather handles and finished in Farrow and Ball Pointing, just the way the customer wanted!

Bespoke Furniture Custom Made to Fit Your Room

There are lots of variations of bespoke furniture and another great benefit of choosing it is that you can use all the space available to fill with useful storage options. For example, these wardrobes with an integral bedside table and shallow curved dressing table were recently fitted in a loft conversion in Finchley. The customer wanted to fill all the available space with functional furniture that optimises the space for storage. This involved us designing around the angles of the room to use all the space possible, even creating a curved dressing table to allow for more floor space from the doorway of the room.

Everyone has different tastes when it comes to furniture, so bespoke furniture is a brilliant way to express your individual taste. Because it is made just for you, to your specifications, you can be sure that it is exactly what you need and want and you will not find it anywhere else.

The Transformation of a Water Damaged Kitchen
Even the smallest leak can make your kitchen cabinets a mess and cause irreparable damage. Water can damage kitchen units in several different ways, for example, even a small amount of water can cause the cabinets to swell, split and even fall apart. The kitchen cabinet can start forming bulges and bubbles, and the damage can be serious enough that you may need to get rid of all the cabinets and have new kitchen cabinets installed.

That’s why it is very important to deal with any leaks as soon as you notice them to avoid any damage to your furniture or even the building.

But what happens if you don’t know that there is water leaking somewhere?
This is exactly what happened to one of our customers recently. Their house, which is a cutting-edge, modern design with timber cladding is partly below ground level. There was a small leak on an outside tap for some time that they hadn’t noticed. A small leak would have not been an issue if it had been solved at an early stage but, by the time the leak was detected, water was pouring through the kitchen ceiling after saturating all the insulation above.

Once we had built the elements of the new kitchen cabinets and work surfaces off site, the old kitchen was removed and the new kitchen installed over two days.

How to Choose the Perfect Vanity Unit for Your Bathroom
Bathroom design has changed a lot in the past few decades, with many people opting for a modern vanity unit for their sink rather than a simple white porcelain pedestal. Adding a bathroom vanity unit could be the makeover your bathroom needs to look more modern, clean and tidy, providing somewhere to hide those cleaning products and spare toiletries. Choosing the right vanity unit will give you a stylish and practical storage solution and, with our uniquely designed and custom-built vanity units, you can have the perfect solution to complete your bathroom. The important question is, what style vanity unit would be best for your bathroom?

Floor Standing or Wall Mounted Vanity Unit

Offering the most amount of storage space for the floor-print, a floor standing vanity unit is the most traditional option. For a more modern and sleek design, floating wall mounted vanity units make the bathroom look bigger by keeping the floor visible. With the ability to consist of both cupboards and drawers, these vanity units could range from a small cloakroom vanity to a double basin vanity that takes up an entire wall of the bathroom.

Vanity Unit with Integrated Sink or Countertop Basin

Depending on the size of your vanity unit, you may find you have more than just a sink using the space of the top of the unit. For a small cloakroom, an integrated basin sunk into the vanity unit would take up the smallest amount of space possible. Where there is space, countertop basins are a modern and stylish option that usually leaves countertop space to place a couple of items like a soap dispenser or even something decorative, like a plant. Of course, where space allows, vanity units with a double basin are the practical solution for a busy family bathroom or will provide that ultimate look of luxury in a private en-suite.

Vanity Unit with Corian Countertop or Sink

Whether opting for an inset or countertop basin, if your vanity unit has enough space for a countertop, you have a huge range of choice for the style and colours available. As a specialist Corian fabricator, we are able to create bespoke sinks and work surfaces to fit perfectly with your space. Corian is a hardwearing and easy to clean surface with little upkeep or maintenance needed to keep it looking pristine and with over 100 different colours and effects to choose from, we know you will be able to find a finish that will fit in perfectly with your bathroom. To help you decide, see our full range of Corian colour swatches.

Vanity Unit Style Options

Our bespoke vanity units are available in many colours and materials. Bathroom furniture comes in many colours and we can create a solution to suit your decor. Whether you are opting for traditional white or something a little more bold, our range of cupboards and drawers are available in many finishes including matt, gloss and wood. So, there are many styles to consider and it is important to find one that suits you and your home. Bold colours can make a great statement whereas grey is a very popular choice for creating an elegant and sophisticated bathroom look, whereas a more traditional white creates a clean and bright look, ideal for smaller bathrooms.

Before deciding on the exact design of your vanity unit, it is important to think about what will be stored in the cupboards and drawers. It’s a great time to throw anything out that you haven’t used in a long time and you won’t in the future to avoid any unnecessary clutter. Think about whether cupboards or drawers, which are often easier to keep tidy, will be most practical for you.
It can be a little overwhelming deciding on a vanity unit that best suits your bathroom so, to help you make the right decision, we would love to help you design the right vanity unit for your space and requirements. Why choose fitted wardrobes for your bedroom?
Everyone wishes they could have a little more storage space in their bedroom. It's not just those of us with a slightly unhealthy clothes shopping habit who dream of more organisation. It is very unlikely that you will be able to find a traditional, freestanding wardrobe to perfectly fit your room. Designing bespoke fitted wardrobes will allow you to use the maximum amount of space possible, from floor to ceiling.

Fitted Wardrobes for Awkward Spaces

Not all bedrooms come with a perfectly square-cornered, whole wall to create a large full width set of wardrobes. Your bedroom may be an awkward shape or have an angled ceiling, but we enjoy designing for something a little more challenging. We are able to design and custom build all our wardrobes to suit any space. Our bespoke wardrobes can fit into the tightest corner and are tailored to fit the full height of the room so all the space is used wisely, no matter what the angle.

Huge Range of Wardrobe Door Colours and Styles Available

The bedroom should be a calm environment, stylish and unique to you and your lifestyle. Whether you opt for a classic white wardrobe, choose one of our many wood options or take the opportunity to add some bold colour into your room, we have a huge range of door options available to choose from. From smooth, gloss, handless doors to traditional style panel doors, we can help design a fitted wardrobe to blend seamlessly into your decor. If space is an issue, our stunning sliding wardrobe doors may be the answer for you. Unlike most systems, ours look like normal doors with no visible tracks or unsightly runners on show when closed.

Walk-In Wardrobes

For the ultimate luxury, for those bedrooms with that extra bit of space, consider a walk-in wardrobe. Hidden away, with the option of a concealed entrance, walk-in wardrobes can allow for even more storage in the given space by not needing doors at all. With a huge range of built in drawers, shelving and hanging rails, as well as those other specialty items like shoe racks or trouser, belt and bag hangers, the options are endless.
